Number of Teams:

Souths Rugby Union, Adelaide, South Australia, has 3 Senior teams entered in the South Australia Rugby Union competition during the winter.  Souths have a Premier Grade, Reserve Grade and 3rd Grade.  Our goal is to be a successful team on and off the field.  Culture is very important to us and we believe that a culture which is inclusive, transparent, honest and fair will produce results in players, members and supporters enjoying their rugby while also developing as a player and a person.

Our coaches are highly skilled and have extensive experience coaching and playing at all levels of the game. Our coaches experience range from playing at ITM cup level in NZ to state and international levels.  While their coaching experience comes from junior grades, to junior representative grade, senior and senior representative grades to international teams.

  •  Players:

Southern Suburbs Rugby Union men’s grade have been very fortunate to have a large group of our seniors selected yearly for the states highest grade of rugby “The Black Falcons”.  Every year we have had over 5+ players been selected and represent South Australia at a national level.  We are very proud of the stock we have in our club and have been honoured to have so many players every year represent Souths Rugby as well as their state.

 

Goals:

Our goal is to challenge and develop our players to the best of their ability.  Providing a transparent and fair model, we hope to have a team that is educated in the game of rugby, while at the same time are skilled and work as a unit to achieve the same goal.  The goal is, to truly be a team, which enjoys themselves on and off the field.
